Pending steam balance after sale
Hi

Is anyone else experiencing an increase in steam balance being held because price is "unusual"? While I recognize this is probably a security feature to prevent scams or mistakes on market, I find it hard to understand why selling an item at highest buy order and/or undercutting by 0.01€ is considered an "unusual price". Is this system really working as intended when virtually every transaction you make is being held for a few days?

Steam doesn't generally explain things (including the obvious question why they are holding the money back for "security", but not the items -- which, according to their own precedent, means they won't rollback the transaction anyway).

This also means we can't know whether it's working as intended, or not. We do know that Steam is extremely slow with fixing bugs that don't hurt them, so if they don't change anything over the next few years, we might be able to conclude that things do work as intended.
