How can I get my old Account back?

Hi!

I had an Steam Account some years ago but unfortunately forgot the Login Password.

I just wanted to get this Account back with entering my Email-Adresse with which this account is created. Unfortunately it was my old Yahoo-Mail adresse which was deleted for beeing too long inactive, so I have no access to this Email Adress anymore because it doesn`t exist anymore.

Is there any opportunity to contact Steam directly with that problem or did somebody else had this problem before and found a solution?

100 beers on the guy who can help me with that, because I really want this old account back as I have a tone of skins on it :(

Was that yahoo account the only method you have linked to that account? I mean you didn't have like a number linked or Steam guard?

Your situation shouldn't warrant anything special outside of this guide. People lose access to email addresses all the time.

My advice would be look into getting a proper password manager to manage your accounts and related details. It can make recovery, or logging into rarely used accounts much easier. And no matter what we tell ourselves in the present we will forget things. The faintest ink is worth more than the sharpest memory, the saying goes.
