If you're using cable, just disable the onboard network wifi adapter, then check to see if that was the problem for your errors.
For Nvidia control panel not working as it should best I can say about it is uninstall, ensure folder gone for it, then reinstall it. If issue still keep handing, check your storage drive health using Crystal disk info.
I am actually using the wireless adaptor, it is just a warning though, should I really be concerned? As I said I can connect to internet just fine, no issues with the speed either.
Also if wifi adaptor fine then don't worry about it.
Then download driver from nvidia, don't let windows install for it as sometimes they give you out of date version, or cause problems for video drivers issues.
I shouldn't be worried about the windows license for the clean install? Since there will be no hardware change. I practically wasted my old license last week when I got this new motherboard, I hadn't linked it to a Microsoft account and it was just lost, wouldn't activate again on my new motherboard. Got a new license yesterday, everything was fine until this came up. I did link it this time or so I think, I just logged in and it says windows activated with license linked to Microsoft account.
Anyways I find it odd you're having this much problems with nvidia experince panel.
Here's the order I'm gonna do things in this time: backup the nvidia installer on an external storage, clean windows then the first thing I'm gonna do is install the nvidia drivers, then connect directly with ethernet (weirdly it comes with ethernet driver pre-installed but not the wireless one) then let it do everything on its own, it SHOULD install all drivers and NOT attempt to overwrite anything nvidia.
I first suspected Microsoft store interfering with the NCP, then I suspected Microsoft account login messing up the admin permissions now I'm thinking something is wrong with his windows usb thing. This is so bizzare. I've looked up everywhere, tried everything google and youtube suggest, I'm just lost now.
If there was a conflicting service or driver or anything, I wouldn't be able to open control panel at all. That's the thing, I can open it if I simply sign out and sign in.
