Steam Wallet Card + "The current payment method does not match the country of the store."

So I'm currently waiting on steam support from this, but I've been one of those guys where it has taken them about 2 week to respond.

Yesterday, I had bought a $50 Steam Wallet Card from EBGames, the card registered and is added to my wallet.. Except now when I go to purchase the game I want, It gives me the Error message of.. " The current payment method does not match the country of the store. "

I'm from canada, bought this card from canada, used the Steam webpage store under " /?cc=CA " and i still get the error, I've used the client of course, tried switching my 'location' around from America to Canada. but I still have the issue..

So... Whats up? I'm really lost on this one as I don't even know if this is a Steam problem, or a user problem.

Usually happens because the card you purchased was a USD card, and your store is in Canadian dollars. You'll have to contact Steam Support to get it sorted out. Only they can change the currency of your Steam Wallet. (Which is now apparently set to USD).

Thanks TirthRR, Though i'm not sure why it would be in USD.. I just hope I don't have such a long wait time as before.

For me personally, I've sent in 2 other tickets before now, one which took about 8 days, the other which was about 15.

The ticket i've opened now is about 4 days old today. BUT! I've heard alot of people getting help in about 2-3 days.
