How do i disable "early access"
Hey i am an old time steam junkie. I get the early access stuff, its nice to be able to "kick-starter" support games and all that. But i HATE them. I don't even want to see them until they are done. I don't go to the grocery store and want to see half full boxes on the shelves. I can't stand waiting for them to be finished, which it doesn't seem like any of them are.....In fact... I cannot think of a single one that has gone from early access to full game that i was then excited about. By that time they are they are long forgotten. I like the option, can i please just be able to filter them out? Really. The option is great, and i was excited when they first started and bought several, but the whole thing has left a bad taste in my mouth now. I cannot think of one good experience.

Usually, games that appear in the "New Releases" section of Steam's Storefront (provided you have "Show DLC" turned off) will not be Early Access. If you hate the popup ads after closing a game that might advertise an early access game, you can disable them in Steam>Interface. Other than that, there's no real way to make them go away.

You can't disable them.

Ok. New releases. I get sucked in by that featured items. It used to be the place to browse. Now its "Pay for an unfinished game" central.

Using your grocery store example, there is plenty of stuff you would never buy that remains on the shelves and visible. Think of Early Access Games as you paying for ingredients (tools/resources for the developer) for a dish(the finished EAG) and instead of you cooking it your chef (EAG developer) does but allows you to taste (play) it along the way.

Except that they never have to finish the dish (steam product) and are not required to make any updates to finish the dish (game). They can just take your money and run. Early access games are nothing but scams. Steam won't ever add a way to filter them because they make money off them regardless if the game you buy ♥♥♥♥♥ you over.
