Garry's mod makes my computer restart on multiplayer server join
When I join a garry's mod multiplayer server it loads and I join for a couple of seconds and then my computer restarts and says your computer restarted because of a problem! I am running on a mac mini with 4GB of ram. Please help this has been making me angry ever sense I got the game!

Hmmm sounds quite strange. It is a laptop so there could be overheating issues? Sounds like it.

All drivers up to date?

OS up to date?

Bios is up to date?

Windows service packs up to date and do you have them all?

Tried verifying game cache?

Try game cache. Go to Gmod in Library. Right click it and select properties. The select local files at the top. Then Verify integrity of game cache.

Could also be a problem with potential addons. Check to see if you can join other servers.

Nope other servers don't work either

When I verified the game cache it said 2 files failed to validate and will be reacquired do you know what that means or is that causing the problem?
