So what is this "shared content" I'm missing and thus not being able to uninstall a game

I've tried to uninstall Warhammer 40k Inquisitor - Martyr but I keep getting the error that I can't uninstall because of missing shared content. I've played it via Proton on Linux.

So, what exactly is "shared content" in Steam?
Why not having it prevents uninstall?
How can I get the "shared content"?

Verify the local game content. That'll get everything into the proper state & you can proceed doing whatever you wanted.

I have. Everything checks out. The problem still persists.

Shared content is all other titles that share its content like "Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor - Prophecy" would share the content of "Warhammer 40k Inquisitor - Martyr."

Thank you. This answered my question and also allowed me to solve my issue by uninstalling Prophecy first. Ofc it'd have been useless without the main game. The error message could be clearer though.

Hmm... but why would it show "missing shared content"? Do I have to download Warhammer 40,000 Inquisitor - Prophecy or Martyr?
