Steam does not return inventory items or wallet funds: https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=3415-WAFH-6433#noreturn
I also have past login information as well. I just need to speak to someone capable of fixing this issue. I have as much patience as they need.
Now, idk if this would even work, but it may show Valve that you are the actual owner, but it depends if you have your main Steam account's phone number the same as this alt account, would be to enable Steam Guard and send a ticket with your alt and say that it is your phone number as the alt and main share the same exact number to thus prove you are the actual owner.
Idk if this can even be done because Valve staff do not think outside-the-box and are moreso robotic in nature of their processes and responses, but you might get lucky. How to send a ticket for an account that you have zero access to is a tricky situation and one I have no true fix for, but am hoping there is a more direct, or correct, way for account recovery.
→ The usual process would be to click "Help I can't sign in" and then "I don't have account access", or something on that list, when you attempt to log into your main account which will prompt the Steam Valve Support ticket system for that account name.
But if you have an API logger attached to the account, the Support ticket may fail to go through or may be deleted by said phishing API.
Funny thing is that Steam Valve can see logins by phone number on the Guard, but rarely will use common sense to fix account access. The problem is the way Valve has procedures in place to not give them lawsuits - legal self-protection.
If you can't enter details cause they've been changed, you don't remember or have access to them use the I don't have/known this data option or just enter random dskjfhksjdfh to continue
Go to that link in a browser if you don't want to log out of the Steam client. You need to be not logged into Steam on that browser, or use something like incognito mode.
After that, keep on choosing the option that is like "I no longer have access to that_____"
You just have to navigate through the self-help wizard until you finally get to the Contact-Steam-Support page. Then you will be able to provide your proof of ownership.
That won't make a difference. Incognito mode doesn't save search history to the browser. Whether you are logged in to an account or not makes no difference
When I am signed into my Steam account on the Steam Store ( store.steampowered.com ) and use the link https://help.steampowered.com/en/wizard/HelpWithLoginInfo?accountsearch=1&issueid=408&reset=1 , the support page tells me "It looks like you are currently successfully logged into your Steam account: [account name here]" and there is no place to search by Steam account name.
When I am signed into my Steam account on the Steam Store but open a new incognito window and use that link, I get the option "Enter your account name, email address or phone number" because I am not logged into Steam on the incognito window.
Also, follow the guide, when you get to the email step, just select “I don’t have” or something similar - scroll down.

I've locked the thread as appealing via those methods is your best route forward.
