Have I actually been falsely reported?
I know most people may know about this kinda scam, but I'm still quite unsure myself regarding what I was told by a user claiming to have accidentally reported my account for fraud. They sent me a screenshot of a supposed ticket Steam Support sent them when they explained the issue, containing a Discord username that was for me to appeal on the matter. Is there any actual way for me to contact a "Steam Mod" to deny their claims once and for all?

It is a scam, just report and block the person. Steam doesn't use discord and will never contact you for any reason.

Important things only come as Notifications or Community Messages. Random users on steam chat or discord have no legitimacy in regard to the status of your account.

Standard scam.

If you look at any Valve Employees profile you will see the following message.
Valve Employees will never ask you for personal or account information, on Steam or anywhere else. You can safely ignore anyone who claims to have mistakenly reported you - that will not get you banned. If you need help with your Steam account, go to https://help.steampowered.com/.
