.
When i get a ubisoft game like AC Unity, where i should put the cd key?
Should i open ubisoft connect and put it in the "Activate cd key" tab, or i should put it in the tab that opens after trying to launch the game?
I have AC Revelation, when the first time i launched it, it asked for a cd key, i copied it from steam > AC Revelation > Cd Key and put it, the game opened normally the first time, but after i closed it and opened it again it asked for a cd key so i did the same thing but it told me that the cd key has already been redeemed.
● My Question: After i get an AC game and download it, what is the first thing that i should do?

Ubisoft games don't ask for CD keys anymore and use an automatic activation method, if your game is asking for a CD key, ensure you have the latest version of Ubisoft Connect.

How Ubisoft works these days on Steam.

For people that buy Ubisoft game via Steam, you download Ubisoft connect client, you either sign up, or login to your existing Ubisoft account , now download your game via Steam, launch it, and it will ask if you want to link your Steam account, and game to your Ubisoft account.

Please note you must use the exact same Steam, and Ubisoft account for the game each time you want to play it.

For people that bought Ubisoft games before Uplay exist, or during early days of Uplay which was years ago, you would get a key, this key you must use on your Ubisoft account, and must use same account for your Steam account, as well use Ubisoft client, this was the old way. Problem was people thought they got free extra copy, but failed to realize it wasn't an extra copy it was their copy, and had to spend days with Ubisoft support solving the problem, that kind of why they switch to make it more dumb down so end user wouldn't cause themselves problem.

Hope this helps. Now not sure if certain old titles still give keys, but if it does follow the old method I explain.

Email don't matter, what matter is the accounts themselves, but if it helps you keep track of your accounts, then I say yes because this way you don't have to juggle multiple emails for your game accounts.

I have couple emails 1 for my personal stuff like banking, gov, and such, 1 for my all my game/movie services like steam, gog, netflix, and such, and a junk email for mobile games, or services I don't trust as I wouldn't want to get spams on my other emails that what my junk email for make things cleaner on my important emails, and don't need to worry about spams.

It wouldn't need to if you have already done it, and launches the game as normal, only time it askes you is either 1st time doing this, or using wrong account.

If you have it on Steam, download and play it.

If you don't have it on Steam, download and play it on the platform you own it on.

You have to install the game 1st, as well install Ubisoft connect client, login to your existing account you plan to linking the game to as it be perma tied to it in order to play the game.

Open Steam client > Download your AC unity game > launch the game.

A) If this is 1st time ever launching the game on your Steam account, it will ask if want to link to your Ubisoft connect account, once linked, it launch game.

B) If you had already link game, it just launch game that it.
