Error: Kicked by steam, authticketcanceled
While playing Emperion, I get disconnected constantly. The server log gives the following error:
Server kicking player CId=16, EId=11312, 76561199144998111/=/'Mel': Kicked by STEAM (AuthTicketCanceled). Please check your login data. (Maybe a Family Sharing problem?)

Does anyone know what the problem is? Is it a Steam problem or a game server problem?
(family sharing is turned off)

It's always best to ask in the game's forum instead of in a general discussion section. Top right-hand corner of its Steam Store page -> Community Hub -> Discussions.

This is software and made by humans, could be the problem, Do you actual bought the game.
if not thats what it do say its not shared anymore and you have no right to it, why uninstall if you buy it then you dont have to reinstall it, there are pro and cons here depend on how you look at it.

This is same if my friend log in at my pc, then he can use my already installed games he own.
many never see that side then you are a standalone user.

I use that word to explan it better, learn from some games that can have multi title within same title.

if you did own it, then reboot pc , validate content and i bet it will change access , or you need to buy or uninstall content, maybe its already doing this, just bad explanation.

im not so sure steam make mistake like that, problem is server judge you not have it anymore.(AuthTicketCanceled)

I purchased the game from Steam. Validated the game files, cleaned out the Steam config file in case something there was corrupted. It only happens on multiplayer servers and quite a few others are having the same issue so it probably has something to do with the communication between the game servers and Steam.

yeah, this is why i think on the past allowed token, thats removed and somehow it not update or pc know it and why i said reboot.

you can try clesr webcache and restart steam, do know the diffrence here i dont say its thats but who know if it can help refetch server update to grant access, justr like then we do clear DL cache, feel free to try one step at time, all this can be seen as waste of time and its still steam server over time that update its rights.

but it only you that can test this before steam do make update.

if this is not fixed next day make steam ticket, i doubt we can even help at all here. in what steam server do or dont do.

and why restart steam might work, so it force the well know content check.

other idea , do check credit card , thats transfer has been made and approvale, becuase if bank/credit card has it on hold until bank work day , then you technicaly has not bought it until steam get there money, we can all forget some bank do this tranfers order in bank work hours.


and this is why sometimes we see post with angry steam user that think they bought it, and bank has cancel the transactions for lack of funds.

the old term you have played on credit, and user did not check mail, i did not say you do this, its more a heads up if its on hold here and waiting banks acknowledge.
