I Was Falsely VAC Banned
I know this isn't the right place to post this and I've already posted there, but I'm running out of ideas and this is the most general place I can get help.I was falsely VAC banned. I know that your first idea is that I cheated and got what I deserved, but I didn't and haven't cheated on any games in the past year. I need help, and I don't know what to do. Here is the same thing I've posted on the other discussion groups:
I am so confused. I was just minding my business playing TF2, and in the middle of typing to another player, I was VAC-banned. I don't know what to do. I have never cheated in an online game and I'm not sure where to go from here. I really love playing this game and I can't even begin to understand how this happened.
I can't start over. I have over 3,440 hours on this game and I don't know what to do. I wasn't running any software in the background that could've caused this either, as all I had running or even had launched this session was discord, steam, my antivirus (Avast), software that is required to use my hardware, (Logitech, Razer) and steam games that I closed before playing TF2, (Dead by daylight, siege, etc.) Someone please help me get this off my account. I don't deserve this.
I didn't and have not cheated in the past year of playing games, nor run any executables that could have been recognized as cheating software. I am begging for any help I can get.

No one here can do anything about that.

This is a automated system.
I'm looking anywhere for help since I can't contact steam directly for a false ban due to the nature of VAC and it's near perfection. I've seen other people that also haven't cheated and are experiencing the same thing I am.

VAC bans are permanent, non-negotiable, and cannot be removed by Steam Support. If a VAC ban is determined to have been issued incorrectly it will automatically be removed.

There already is an answer, you just have to read it: https://help.steampowered.com/faqs/view/571A-97DA-70E9-FF74

all this does is explain what VACs are and how to prevent them

Not only. It also explains the ramifications of a ban, as well as the concept of false-positive detections.

Those are the two passages you must pay attention to:

I believe VAC has made a mistake in banning me - what do I do now?

These forums only offer user to user support and as a result this forum section should only be used to find information on the VAC system. The forum community (including volunteer moderators) are unable to investigate VAC bans. VAC bans cannot be appealed. If a VAC ban is issued incorrectly it will be automatically removed after investigation, but Steam Support does not manually remove VAC bans applied to accounts for any reason.
So my only option is to wait? Is there any way I could grab a moderators attention to even glance at my ban?

If there was, literally everybody would use it, turning what you think to be a shortcut, into one huge-ass long waiting line getting you nowhere.

... aside from the fact that moderators can't do ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about bans in the first place. Different department.

I guess so, I just don't know what to do since almost every person previously banned by VAC were actually cheating. Since VAC works so well most of the time, there's no real reason to look at such an insignificant outlier such as myself. I just hope since other people have been experiencing the same thing, this can be dealt with soon enough. Or at least I could get some closure on what stupid program I might've accidently had running in the background that could've possibly triggered VAC's detection.

They do not tell you what triggered a vac ban to prevent you from bypassing the system easier.

That article I've posted also addresses this topic. READ IT!

After you've read it, we can start digging, if you like. It is entirely possible that you've made a mistake leading to your account getting banned and going down to the root of this mistake is worth a shot.

I appreciate it, I have read through it but I don't feel like I'm taking in all the information as well as I could currently because I'm a bit hysteric and sleep deprived. I'm gonna head to bed and I'll read through it again tomorrow to review my next options. Thank you for your help.
