Stadia Controller not recognized by Steam

Hello Steam Community,

I am having trouble with my Stadia Controller not being recognized by Steam. I have updated my controller to connect via Bluetooth and it works on Windows, but since I’ve done that, when I open Steam it doesn’t recognize it anymore, even when connected with the cable. I have tried enabling Generic Gamepad Configuration Support and enabling Steam Input for the game in question, but my controller still doesn’t appear on the Steam controller settings menu even though it’s recognized by Windows (via USB or Bluetooth).

Has anyone else experienced this issue and found a solution? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What does that thing identify as to the system?

I assume you're on the stable client so check via Big Picture mode: Menu > Settings > Controller.
See if it presents Setup Device Inputs [Begin Setup].
