Trade offer email not being sent

Hi, I am trying to send over items to another user. I have attempted to send the trade offer, but states that 'This trade offer has not been sent yet. An email with instructions on how to send this trade has been sent to your email address.'.

No email is being sent through; (correct email as had to verify code to login to account).

Privacy settings are all public aside from game data AFAIK. Is there anything I can do in order to receive this email to allow me to confirm the trade?
