Mobile app broke Family VIew PIN.

I am currently in the process of updating and increasing security on everything I currently own because someone gained access with my email and started screwing with things, and with steam I decided to change my password and install the steam app. Before the situation I had family view turned on with a PIN and while I used the app I was able to turn it on and off, but when I turned Steam Guard on, and logged out of all other devices. the PIN doesn't work on the phone, and I just get an error saying "Error from ValidatePassword:2". I restarted my phone and force stopped steam. The PIN works on other devices, just not my phone for some reason. How do I fix?

Uninstall and reinstall the app.
