Streaming client won't open at all
I have been playing using the streaming for a bit now, but today when I click "Stream" the game starts on the remote PC, but my local client doesn't open even after I click "Connect", nothing happens.

I tried a bunch of solutions such as restarting steam,
- restarting the PC,
- uninstalling steam,
- reset the Firewall rules then enabling steam on local and public networks...

FYI, my phone seems to be able to connect using steam link.... but not my pc.

Please help.

I'm having this issues as well currently reinstalling steam myself

Did you per-chance install a game that may have installed Vcredist (Visual studio C++?) or DirectX? I had installed elden ring to test it out locally, and it may have brought those softwares with it... couldn't connect remotely ever since

Bro I fixed it.

I installed the following vcredist versions (Visual Studio C++) on my computer that were interfered with when elden ring installed its own.

- 2008 : x86 & x64
- 2012: x86 & x64
- 2013: x86 & x64
- 2015_2022: x86 & x64

This was whack.
