Steam deck add ons gone?

One of the updates made all my decky loader and other add ons vanish from the option menu. It's weird 'cuz I still have a custom theme, custom sleep animation and boot up animations but the entire plug in tab is gone.

A thing you could try if quitting the beta if you're participating.
If you don't (or if quitting doesn't solve this either), you have to wait for the software author to catch up with changes. There's no stable plugin interface in Steam. That means that all plugins are hacks and hacks may fail. Does the author of the hacky stuff you're using have a form/bugtracker/anything?

You don't need plugins for boot animations though. Just drop the clips into the apropriate folder.

My friend said his add ons didn't disappear so I'm not sure why mine would. Maybe it is a beta thing and I didn't know I was opt in. How do I go about to check?

An easy check would be: do you remember joining the beta programme, like, EVER? If you don't, you're either not in the beta or should stop clicking random things just because they're there.
