Check your email: Steam will send you an email notification when you receive a gift. If the sender did not identify themselves in the message, the email may contain more information about the gift and who sent it.
Check your Steam activity feed: The activity feed on your Steam profile may contain more information about the gift and who sent it. Go to your profile, click on the "Activity" tab, and look for any recent activity related to the gift.
Ask your friends: If you have a suspicion that a particular friend may have sent you the gift, you can try asking them directly if they sent it. They may be able to confirm or deny if they were the sender.
Contact Steam support: If none of the above solutions work, you can try contacting Steam support for assistance. While they may not be able to tell you who sent the gift, they may be able to provide more information about the gift itself or any recent activity on your account.
Or look up the purchase history for the game. https://help.steampowered.com/en/
