Its not working :'''( I think someone hacked my account, my main account won't log in no matter what I do. Its like the person switched their email with the original email I use for my main account so I cant request a password change correctly if that makes sense. Everytime I use my current email, it sends me to a older account Ive had with no games and not the CURRENT account I have on that email. Its all so overwhelming :(((

make sure to be logged out of every steam account before starting the recovery
if it asks you for something you dont have (email, password...) say i dont have and go to the next step
at the end you can open a ticket and steam asks you for proof of ownership of the account
