How do i unlink a rockstar account that i cant log in it?

I want to play GTA V again but i cant log in the rockstar account. i have made a new rockstar account ( I hope my progress saves) but is says that " This Steam account is laready linked to a different Social Club account. Please log in with that Social Club account instead." I tried to reset my password but the email is on an old phone but i dont get email im supposed to get.

You'll have to go through R* support, only they can unlink it as it's 100% on their end.

That probably means recovering the old account.

Still Rockstar problem to deal with it, if you even did a internet search on the subject , its samer reply over many years.

steam is a frontsore only all support and link is maybe by other devs to steam client, they might chnage someday but it seem to stick to every third part client, or account issue.

rockstar game games on steam is still rockstar support problem.
same goes with any other game to that game devs own support.

This may also be a good lesson as to why one should use a password manager to keep track of accounts. Your life would be a bit simpler now if you just had all your old account info stored in your password manager.

This is also a good lesson in why you should have an email account that isn't dependent on your phone or internet provider. I've been through multiple ISP's over the years but still do pretty much everything with the same ancient email account.
