How do I fix this monitor scratch?

Below is the image of the scratch on my monitor, I checked online they recommend Vaseline. Will it work? Where do I buy one?

Some windex and paper towels(with heavy scrubbing) might get rid of that big one in the center.
The image has some kind of thumb print at the bottom center/right. Hopefully you can just rub that clean.
Now that dark black line I hope isn't damaged liquid crystal, hopefully light windex, try the Vaseline, but then try car wax (Mother's carnuba solid paste wax, not a liquid). Do a test spot on the far left and if it comes off you're good.
Its such an odd diagonal line. How did that even get there?
Just to be sure do a full-screen solid color and flip the colors to see if those are stuck pixels. (MS paint, maximized, 'fill-paint' brush).
If that doesn't come off just get a new monitor, but be more careful.

I did fix it, using creme.
