Non Steam Game

When I add a non steam game can I make the non steam game appear in the library of only the computer I am adding it to and not all my computers? Like for instance using GOG games in the Steam Deck in game mode required me to add games to Steam. I on't want them listed on my desktop.

Added Non Steam Games should only appear on the system you are using them on and not be visible on other computers of yours, even when using the same Steam account.
Non Steam games are just local shortcuts and exist only on the system you added them to Steam on.

I dont own a Steam Deck but i dont think it should be any different there, it definitely is like this on Desktop/Laptops i own.

Not for me. It’s syncing between my Steam Deck, my HTPC which doubles as gaming in the living room on the tv and my desktop upstairs that also has my vr hooked up to it.

Same. I thought it was local machine only, since it's a unique, local shortcut.

I don't see any options to make it local only when editing. :( I don't know if Valve reads these but if this isn't a thing for local library only can it be added as a feature?
