Cant run any steam game in my library!
i just got my laptop reprogrammed and everything was running smoothly and i was excited to play my games. Then most of them would load, and stay frozen in a black screen. The only choice was to alt+f4 to get out of there

And yes i've tried verifiying cache, clear download cache and even run it on windows 8 compatible, because according to older articles with people with the same problems as i did it worked. And now i feel kind of hopeless.

And with that i've also downloaded and redownloaded steam for i think the 3rd time now, getting pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥ and sad here

Edit: CPU - Intel core i3-6100U
GPU - GeForce 940 MX (2GB dedicated VRAM
RAM - 4GB DDR4
OS - Windows 10 Enterprise
HDD - 1000GB
Model - Acer Aspire E 14

Help would be much appreciated!!!!!!

What fixed it for me was Settings>Account>beta participation>change to steam beta update
Make sure that your OS knows to use the graphics card, and not the onboard chipset on the motherboard. Since it's a laptop that's a known issue when Windows 10 updates - sometimes it will 'forget' settings, and make it use the mobo instead of the graphics processor.

Also make sure that it's not interrupting steam and its games and whitelist them in your firewall and virus scanners.
I'm having a similar problem which I've never had on this machine. I wonder if it was that big Win10 update recently? Did you figure out a solution? I feel I've tried all the main culprits too and still CTD or hang on all games.
i3-6100U , that cpu is a virtual , and you might not have game requirements

so what game and most cou i know with that is laptop

if laptop use full performance, it do say that in manual then run high demanding calculation or app

well actually, it runs my games p good, Insurgency at 90 fps, CSGO at 100+ are such examples. Again, my conclusion is that i have a corrupted hard drive due to the factory reset
