"Last Played" after hitting install

I already started the download and steam counts this as "played" - can i see somewhere else when a game was played by me the last time

Now with the Game Notes in the beta branch (coming soon to the stable branch), you can add a note the last time you played either in the games overlay or in the library page itself.

I would just be happy if it didn't instantly jump to "Last Played: Today" whenever you install a game. That's silly. Just because I installed it, doesn't mean I played it. Installing =/= Playing.

I've been bothered by this for years. I had an idea, just tried it, and it worked. Before playing the game you just installed, quit Steam and restart it. Find the game in your library, and it will now show the correct Last Played date.
