Didn't receive a refund from Steam yet
Basically the title. I've requested a refund of a purchased game because I realised my PC doesn't have the minimum requirements only after I purchased it.

I requested a refund and Steam granted it, I even have screenshots of the email confirming my refund, saying I should see it on my credit card that I used to pay for the game within 14 days. After 14 days there was nothing, so I waited a few days extra just to be sure, and then contacted my bank, where they said that I have no pending transactions or anything. The game is also gone from my collection, so I know for a fact that the refund went through, but I still haven't received the money.

Does any one know what I should do now? I tried contacting the Steam support, but I've had no luck reaching them anywhere.

how long after you purchased it did you request a refund? if you requested shortly after the purchase, steam never collected the money and thus there is nothing to refund.

After a bit over a day. When the game finished downloading I noticed I couldn't open it, so I requested a refund. So I requested a refund a bit over a day of purchase.

Where is my refund? My refund was approved, but it’s been more than 7 days.

Approved refunds can take up to 7 days to appear in your account – however, refunds to international payment methods may take longer. If your refund hasn’t appeared after 7 days, please contact your bank directly and ask about pending refunds on your account.

When a refund request is approved within 24 hours of the purchase, the original transaction is cancelled and the charge drops off your bank statement. In this case, you will not see a credit on your account. This process can take up to 10 days – wait time for international payment methods may vary.

The funds were probably still in the Pending stage. Thats when the money gets put on hold preventing you from spending it but before Steam actually receives it. If refund allowed Steam just cancels the transaction and that mean cancelling the pending transaction. Pending gets removed and your funds are released back into your account.

As nothing left your account you wouldn't see any funds coming back. If this is what happened checking your account you should see no money actually left the account

I appreciate the effort, but I said I read all of that already. My refund was confirmed on April 13th, so almost a month ago by now, way outside the mentioned time period.

So I just have to wait a bit longer then? It's already been 22 days since the refund was granted, so should I wait even longer or am I just down 70€ with nothing I can do about it now?

No, re - read what Hotsauce linked and I wrote. Check you account to see if the funds actually LEFT your account.

I have already contacted my bank today, I've been told that that's the case. I also don't see anything in my Steam balance, as I have never used that, I always pay directly with the card. I will personally go to the bank in Monday to personally check if the 70€ actually left my bank account then, as I have no way of doing that from home due to the way my bank account is set up.
