I uninstalled a massive game but my storage hasn't been freed up.
I uninstalled Jedi Survivor to attempt a reinstall. Don't ask why, its a long story. It's a massive 130ish GB game, and yet ive only gotten about 20ish GB back. I checked my steamapps folder, cleared my recycling bin, and cant find any traces of the game on my ssd, yet the 130 GB is still taken.
Can someone please help me. This is causing a lot of stress and due to irl things at the moment i'm not in the state of mind for this to happen on top of other stuff.

Use tools like Tree Size Free to find where the missing space went.

shutdown/restart pc

steam > settings > downloads > CLEAR DOWNLOAD CACHE

in windows use "cleanmgr.exe" and clean everything, also system files

do an exceptional defrag

maybe also use ccleaner portable[www.ccleaner.com] from official site and clean up your pc..

After scouring through steam files for 40+ minutes i managed to find the cache folder and delete them, so i got my 130 gigs back :)
