External hard drive question
I have a 4TB SeaGate STGD4000400 that I use for my PS4 and I need space on my PC so I was wondering, is it possible to use the hard drive without deleting the games or reformatting the storage device. I gave the ps4 to my son when I got this pc and I dont want to have to delete all his games and would like to be able to just plug it back into the ps4 when I'm not using it. I would also like to keep the PC games on there as well so I can just transfer it back and forth.
Is this possible?

You should partition the PS4 content and the PC content from each other first.

If you have $100, I would look into getting a WD Black 6TB 7200RPM Cache 128MB drive. They are going dirt cheap these days. Well, in the US it's easier to get these deals.

I would rather an internal drive setup myself. Not much into external drives nor laptop computing pertaining to music creation, game development, or plain gaming but to each their own!
