Non Steam Game Launch Options

I'm using big picture mode with a non steam game so i can use the steam controller. Whenever i play the game, the steam controller attaches to the launcher and wont work as intended in the game. I have another game i used the "skip launcher" option (Cyberpunk 2077) and was able to use the steam controller in that game (it was trying to do the same thing).

Now I'm trying to play Veloren through big picture (i already added as non steam game) and when i use the skip launcher option it just shuts the game down. I was hoping there is an option to just Play the launcher if that makes sense. I don't want top have to scroll the mouse over to the launcher and click play because I think that id where im having the issue.

I've looked all over and cant seem to find what im looking for . Any hep would be awesome.

I downloaded Veloren but didn't create an account so only tested with singleplayer.

I noticed that the shortcut 'Airshipper (compatibility mode)' doesn't show the launch screen. Checked it out and saw it has run added to the target path

"C:\Program Files\Airshipper\airshipper.exe" run

So try run in the Launch Options.


I was experiencing issues between Steam Input and the game's controller support though. Inputs would sometimes get stuck repeating or not respond. It was fine with an Xinput & DS4-like controller when Steam Input was disabled.

So I tried with GlosSI and finally got things working nicely...

I tried the "run" in the launcher and it worked like a charm! Thank you so much kind stranger!!
