Threshold For Games With "Limited Profile Features"
Does anyone know what the threshold is for a game to get full access to Profile Features?

I'm mostly just asking out of curiosity. I think it's a pretty handy system that protects against abuse of achievements and other profile features but it would be nice to know exactly where the line is. Is it based on reviews? Total revenue generated? Does Steam have someone that manually checks if a game doesn't meet the automatic criteria after a certain amount of time? Are there games or developers that have been permanently restricted because of abuse in the past?

I don't have access to any games sales or revenue information (for obvious reasons) but after checking my Steam Library I have a game with limited profile features with about 120 reviews and a game that has all profile features with about 400 reviews. So while that's not a direct representation of copies sold nor revenue earned it does indicate that one is at least 3x more popular than the other. The threshold is likely somewhere in between them.

So if anyone knows the actual threshold or just has a game that can narrow the gap even further that would be greatly appreciated!

Vague for a reason.

Q. What metrics are used to qualify a game for profile customization features?

A. Our confidence metric is based on sales and player engagement figures. We do not include data from user reviews, wishlists, total playtime, or any other judgment of the "quality" of the game. We're simply looking for a broad player base.

The moment there's a published formula (with constants), scumbag wastes of human skin will try to abuse the system by skirting right along the border. That has happend in the past and will happen again.
