I suggest you to ask in the game¡s discussion hub. But you should try to verify the game file, maybe there are some folders missing.

If you have say speakers and headphones, this could be the path to a fix. I have seen these audio codecs clash and crash, mainly the MS Windows Soundwave and MS Windows DX sound codecs clashing. Especially if you using a DAI, some games will hurt the external sound card over DVD 48k. I used 192k on a game and it corrupted my ext. sound card (days gone)...

Could be a pathway key...
