My VPN region is set to the country that I am in, and I was able to play with my VPN on with no problem for nearly a year until 3 weeks ago when this just started to happen.
Yet i've been able play on official servers with a vpn for nearly a year...
A virtual private network (VPN) encrypts your internet traffic and then routes it through your VPN provider's server before you connect to a website or another online service. This helps disguise your identity and activity on the internet. VPNs can be used to bypass geographic restrictions, shield your activity on public Wi-Fi, and hide your real IP address when browsing etc.
Yet when you DO NOT use your vpn, your real world location is known and you CAN connect to the official game servers.
This is exactly the reason why I use a VPN otherwise I wouldn't use one. What I don't understand is how I was able to play with out problems for nearly a year with the VPN on and now it's not working.
