Victrix PRO FS-12 R2 and L2 not working in game

I am looking for a solution to fixing this and steam is bugging out and not letting me write a support ticket for this. I have, atm, my controller set to PS5 and it works fine besides R2 and L2 not working at all in game but when I do a windows test nothing is wrong. Now when I switch to the PC setting inside the controller, it is listed as a Xbox One controller, will not let me reset or change any of the inputs to the controller and R2 and L2 is still not working. I have tried turning on and off the beta, nothing happens. I just have the controller on PS5 setting for the time being because nothing else is working. If you know the fix to this the please help.

Reviving this to give a solution: Disable Steam Input in the game's properties in your library. If that don't work, go into Steam's settings > General Controller Settings > and turn off controller support for Xbox and Playstation controllers.

Got mine to work while using the thing in PC mode.

You have to open the hitbox from the back side and flip the switch to the very right
