steam update manifest unavailable

A few days ago I got the following error message when trying to update Arma 2: "manifest unavailable", it tries to update for a moment then then update is canceled and it shows the error message.
It only happens with this Arma 2 update, updates from other games have been working fine. I've tried every solution I've found on the internet so far (restart Steam, change download region, logout and log back in, delete download cache, flush dns, disable Windows Defender, restart pc, etc) but nothing has worked and I'm unable to download updates for Arma 2.

Anybody have any idea how to fix this?

Same problem here. Haven't found a fix yet :(

Problem still persists, every time I open the Steam client I get this manifest unavailable error (only happens with Arma 2, other games are updating fine).
Something I noticed in the past few days is that is shows the error message, the time it attempted to update, and that time is always 5 minutes or so ahead of the actual time (eg: the actual time it 6:00AM but it says it attempted to update at 6:05AM).

Had this problem with Arma 2 about a month ago. Deleted Arma 2 folder and downloaded game from scratch.

I contacted Steam support, after talking to them I deleted the file "appmanifest_33910.acf" from the "Steam\steamapps\" folder. When I opened the Steam client Arma 2 showed up as not installed, I clicked install, the Steam client identified there were game files already installed, verified everything, then everything worked fine after that (I didn't have to reinstall the entire game, just delete the 1 file i mentioned above), the issue seems to be solved and I haven't seen the "manifest unavailable" error since.
