Can't connect to servers using Google Fi Hotspot

I'm using my phone as a hotspot and I just switch to GoogleFi, and Steam can't connect to the servers. Google Fi customer support as been absolutely useless and told me to contact my ISP at one point. And whenever I came across someone having a similar problem online they just gave up.

What the hell is "Google Fi"? Does it have anything to do with WLAN, Bluetooth or any other standard?

Same issue since 2020 and still same issue in 2024.
Google FI is not good at all for gamers.

The current trick right now is to use a real browser AND try it at exactly 12AM Pacific Time. Any other time will result in an HTTP 500 ERROR or a blank page.

google fi is an ISP, it doesn't have anything in common with YouTube nor with the account linking with YouTube.
