Steam remote play isnt working

So im am trying to use steam remote play and the remote pay button isnt working/responding like when I am clicking it nothing happens and I an invite my friends plz help.

First, it's remote ay TOGETHER. Important distinction!

is it not beause hats how i usually invite my friends so what is the other way?

Interesting! I've always done it from the context menu.

That said, try another game to make sure the function itself works.

I have tried multiple games but so far it is not working

the main issue im tryng to fix is that the remote play together menu won't open

This is happening to me right now. A friend of mine couldn't play for the king when this function used to work.

Same problem, although I'm not sure how long it has been like this. I see someone complaining about it @ https://steamcommunity.com/discussions/forum/1/3761103414977850767/ almost a month ago, but I only noticed it today when I tried to invite my friend to play.

It's good to know it isn't just me, but I hope it gets fixed soon

Edit: For reference, remote play is working if you invite your friend through the friends list, but the menu to assign controllers/keyboards is not.

Same problem, on March 14, everything was fine, but yesterday it stopped working. I thought about reinstalling Steam, it didn't help
