If I revert the game to 0 achievements unlocked, would that unsure safety if Steam were to start banning people who has previously used SAM?
I should start it by saying it was for Single player games, both games together barely has more than 100 players playing right now as of writing this

I have used SAM for 2 games in order to unlock the alphabet in achievement icons, it amounts to almost 1000 achievements in total so it is a lot.

Steam can be odd, and sometimes decide to simply start banning anyone who has used the software, If they do that and I were to delete all achievements and start again at 0 now, would I be safe? Would it be visible on Valves end or is the "crime" already done?

I just want to make sure, I am a game collector and I am trying to reach 1000 games before 2023 ends, would be a shame if I got suspended/banned on steam for such a simple thing.

Or would simply removing the game permanently from my library do the trick? As it using the support option to remove it? Would that ensure safety? The games were like 0.2€ so its not like I would lose anything

I highly doubt Valve will ban the use of SAM, especially retroactively.

Is it allowed at this moment? I also think banning people that used it before ruling it out is unlikely

You can even remove them via the console. Valve has no plans to take action against people for doing any of this.
