Please help : CS:GO Laggy and stuttering only on my main account while having HIGH fps and good internet

Hi guys,

I am reaching out to report an issue that I am experiencing since few years now while playing CSGO. Specifically, I am encountering lag and stuttering on my main account, but not on any other accounts. tried my brother account, my friends accounts... I have tried multiple solutions, but the issue persists.

Despite having FPS consistently above 600, the game feels not smooth when I spray, and there is lag and stuttering that makes gameplay difficult. I have confirmed that this is not an issue with my internet speed or hardware, cause i changed my pc and my connection is over 1 GB/s.

I have tried several potential solutions, such as adjusting video settings, reinstalling the game, and checking for any background processes that could be affecting performance. changing PC, changing country (no joke) i lag only on my main account. However, none of these solutions have been successful.


Please don't tell me to verify game files, or change config or update drivers, i'm myself an IT security engineer, I have been troubleshooting the issue and believe that it may be related to the configuration of this account or something in the cloud.

more details:

my shots missing and getting killed behind cover. Even in deathmatch servers I feel like there is a decent delay, sometimes even firing bullets after already being dead. Anyone know how to fix this crap? I dont even peek angles anymore as I am guaranteed to be dead before someone even appears in the middle of the open.

it's CS2 now brother, and not playing tbh but the game is much smoother than CSGO
