Disk Usage stuck averaging at 2.5mpbs to 3mbps
I don't have any knowledge with steam so, I'm just here asking for help. I'm currently trying to download GTA V, and I couldn't help but notice, my disk usage won't go above 10mbps anymore. Does anyone know how can I make this faster (if possible)? I'm downloading GTA on my HDD because my SSD is too small for it.

Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4460 CPU @ 3.20GHz
Installed RAM: 2x 8gb DDR3 1300MHz
System type: 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti
HDD: TOSHIBA DT01ACA050 (466 GB)
SSD: WDC WDS120G2G0A-00JH30 (112 GB)
Ethernet: Realtek PCIe GbE Family Controller

HDDs suck. Nowadays, they only get used for cold storage (speed irrelevant) or tiered storage (speed managed by Flash cache). So either get moar SSD space, or deal with uncompressing games taking forever.

I got no money so I will just cancel GTA bruh I ain't waiting 47 years just to decompress this

Let it run overnight. Let your PC just do its thing while you're happily asleep. Should you consider playing GTA Online, it takes forever and a day to load either way, your HDD won't hold you back then.

Another option would be to make space on your SSD. Uninstall a couple other games, declutter your porn collection...

Maybe you should look at tweak that old pc so it run smoother or optimized as best old pc can do.
