Lower resolution cs 1.6

Hello everyone.
I am trying to set up a 800x600 or 1024x768 resolution on cs 1.6, but it can't go full screen, I have black bars on the sides. I searched for the problem and couldn't find any solution. The only solution to play on full screen is to set the display mode to "Widescreen" and play on the highest resolution. But, I don't want that.

Any ideas?

You want the image to be all stretched and warped? I think this is something you'd configure at the graphics card level in the graphic card's drivers/control panel. Telling it what to do when displaying non-native aspect ratios.
