You don't have an api key, typically if you have a value in your Steam api key it's been put their while your account has been compromised and is used by the scammer. You've made some bad assumptions about the the api key.

Your account is compromised, you probably were phished at some point or otherwise tricked into handing over your credentials. 3rd party trading sites are a popular vector for this.

Secure your account and be more careful in the future.

You might want to get a handle on how the system actually works to better protect yourself.

You really shouldn't install random extensions like that because they can put your account and computer security at risk. The extension is likely how your item was stolen.

all 3rd party sites are USE AT OWN RISK.

remember that - ALL OF THEM ARE USE AT OWN RISK

just because you think the site is "legit" does not mean it is legit.

be more careful next time
Secure your account

Scan for malware. https://www.malwarebytes.com/

Check that the email and phone number on the steam account are still yours.

Deauthorize all devices https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage

Change your password on a secure device.

Generate new back up codes. https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage

Revoke the api key https://steamcommunity.com/dev/apikey
