Profile online status?
Hello,
my profile currently shows that I would be "offline" and that I would have been online the last time 81 days ago...

Which both is wrong. I am currently online, I have the option to go offline under Steam and I can download or play games. And the last time I was onlline was yesterday...

Which setting could be interfering with the online/offline status and last online in my profile?

Mach mal deine Steam Freundesliste auf und klick dort rechts neben deinem Namen den kleinen Pfeil und dort wählst du dann Online aus.

I´m translating here from the german version of Staem but do you mean under
"Meine Freunde" / "My friends"?
There is no arrow next to my name.

Mir fällt grad auf dass Du ja deutsch geschrieben hattest...
Also wenn ich Steam offen hab unter meinem Namen der oben in der Mitte angezeigt wird sind Aktivität, Profil, Freunde. Dort unter Freunde?

Well i mean, go to the steam symbol, right side bottom of your desktop in the Taskbar, hold the mouse cursor over it, then click right mouse button, then click on "Friends" so the friendlist will open, then look right on top the tiny thing next to your name, looks like this:

Da kommt bei mir "Nicht bei Freunde & Chat angemeldet". "Sie sind zur Zeit offline. Melden Sie sich an um auf Ihre Freundesliste und den Chat zugreifen zu können."

Aber was haben Freunde und Chat mit meinem Onlinestatus zu tun? Ich kann doch online spielen und Spiele runterladen ohne zu chatten?

Der Status sagt halt nur aus ob du online verfügbar (im chat) bist oder nicht, nicht ob du allgemein gerade online bist

Oh, also MUSS ich mich im Chat anmelden um in meinem Profil "onilne" zu sein, selbst wenn ich gar nicht chatte und schon online bin? Etwas seltsam aber ich guck mal ob ich die Einstellung finde. Wollte eigentlich so wenig wie möglich im Hintergrund beim Spielen am Laufen haben.

Edit: "Beim Start des Steam-Clients bei Steam-Freunde anmelden"?

Nein, das ist es nicht. Hab es eben angehakt, Steam geschlossen und neu getartet - und im Profil bin ich immer noch offline.

Ich glaubs nicht - ich kann einfach links oben im Menü unter "Freunde" manuell meinen Onlinestatus setzen auf online oder offline, völlig unabhängig davon ob ich on- oder offline bin...
