Store search preferences not saving

Hi,

Been having this issue for a couple of months now, searching isn't really bringing up any fixes (many suggestions but nothing that works).

When browsing the storefront using the categories tab, I want to hide anything I already own or have on my wishlist.

I know there are preferences you can change ("hide items in my library" "hide items on my wishlist" etc) - however, no matter how many times I change the settings, the search still picks up games I own by default.

I have tried restarting steam entirely after changing the settings, but the filter is still not working.

Is this an ongoing bug, or does anyone have a fix for this?
