Refund on an expired card
I refunded a game back to my visa debit card that has now expired, I have had my new card sent to me the details are the same and it is associated with the same bank account the only thing that has changed with the card is the expiry date. Will I still get my refund sent back to my bank?

Depends if its the same card number/CVN, so basically the same card just with a new expiry date.
If the card has a different number it may not work, in that case the refund will automatically go to your Steam Wallet.

There shouldn't be an issue if that credit card account is still active with no other changes.

oh I apologise I should've checked the cvn on the back, it is not the same cvn but it is the same card number. so now to clarify, the new card is associated with the same bank account and it has the same card number but not the same CVN or expiry date.

It will be fine. I used to work for a credit card company and refunds and such will be forwarded to the current card. Even if you reported the card stolen and got a new number, refunds to the old card will still transfer over.

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
