Sort games by date last played?

Is there a way to sort games by date last played? Either through the client, site or some other tool? I know Steam does record the date of last play, but I can't see a way to make use of that. "Recently played" only seems to cover a month or so.

"Recently played" goes months, then years, then "no recorded activity" for me at least.

edit: Disregard. Was thinking of "Recent Activity."

In the client go to library then home. Make sure ready to play games is not selected. You can create a shelf and select all games in the first drop down on the left side and the in the sort by drop down select last played. It will show all games from most recently played to the oldest played. You my have to click on the down arrows on the right to expand the shelf.

its in the home lib , the 2 little blueish circle "Filter" installed and recent, most user have this on as default. or choise.


collection can also do this, but maybe you have it under the other and need to move it up or re add shelf again.

This may be the case if you play games offline. I noticed that some games I played exclusively offline have apparently zero total play time and show no "last played" date.
