PC randomly freezes after closing game
Helly guys,
for around 10 days I have issuses with my PC. It regularly freezes after quitting a game (no issues during gameplay)
It happens everytime I close Assassins Creed Unity on Steam and in around 50 percent of cases when I finish Wolfenstein the New Colossus on Steam.
Problem does not appear however after I finish Red Dead Redemption 2 on Epic or Hellblade on GOG.
I run my games from an external SATA SSD connected by a Sabrent USB 3.0 adapter.
Drivers for mainboard, graphics and Windows are all up to date.
Sfc/Scannow does not show any problems nor does Health check.
I also checked the integrity of the SSD by Windows, seemingly no issues either.
I reinstalled Steam too, did not help either.
I use Windows 11 pro with the following hardware:

7800X3D
MSI PRO B650-P WIFI
Gskill 32 GB PC6000
WD 1 TB SM 770 Black
Powercolor RX 7900 XTX OC Hellhound
XPG Core Reactor 850W

Thanks in advance for your help

Check windows update and dont have missing update issue on the extra button under update, other pc user also had win11 issue but i dont think thi is that. do have plaenty of free room on boot disk, also sounds like the old system issue with near full disk and take time to release resources bavck to system.

Dont foprget old 10% windoes advice on a 2tb disk thast 200gb and disk get out of red color bar.
system do need work space for temparary files.

dont forget the dism repaire cmd ... google it also can be seen as part of SFC checking same with chkdsk ( check disk )

It must be linked to steam and the external SSD. No problems with games from other launchers only steam games running from that external ssd
