When installing a game, you are presented with the option to add a shortcut to your desktop, and also have the option to add a shortcut to the Start Menu. But after having installed the game, if you change your mind later on, there is only the option to add the shortcut to the desktop, no option for the Start Menu.
You use the KDE Menu Editor to manually create an entry in the desired directory ("Games" in this case), and fill out the entry with the
Name: [Game name, or whatever you want, really]
Comment: Play this game on Steam [which is just a comment, but standard on other steam entries, so just for the sake of uniformity]
Program: steam
Command-Line Arguments: steam://rungameid/[id-number]
And you can add the appropriate entry icon in the same menu so that the game icon will appear on the application launcher (search "steam" for quicker icon finds).
Don't forget to save.
