Never EVER give someone your Steam web API key. This gives the other party a wide range of control over your account and can easily be used to scam you or worse, use your account to scam others.
If a thief came up to you and asked for a CCTV camera to be placed in your house, would you do it?
Any site that wants their API key to be placed on users accounts are doing it for scamming purposes.
Yeah guys writing these comments really helped me solve my problem. Thanks!
You guys are so naive to believe that you know more than the people that put their hard-earned money on these sites.
You see car crashes every single day. Does it stopping you from driving a one? Yeah, I think so.
Here after 15 seconds Google search......
I recommend reading the ENTIRE contribution.
You don't even know what an API key is or its core functionality so if you want to risk having a 3rd party site having full monitoring access to your account then you go and deal with that with the scam site and leave the Steam community out of it.
P.S.: Spamming nonsense on other people's profiles will not be tolerated.
