Error code: -118

I get this error message when trying to open steam store, wishlist, basically anything through the steam client. Library will display, and I can launch my games in online mode.

I have tried clearing the browser cache through steam, but this did not fix the issue. Does anyone have any ideas on this specific error code? Error code -118 (failed to load webpage (unknown error))

I am also looking for a solution to this exact problem. I have explored every possible solution I could find on Google associated with this error code.

Who is your isp? So far everyone I have talked to with this problem has different ISP. Have heard Xfinity, Comcast and Metronet so far. Pretty sure this is an issue on Steam's end. I contacted support but have not heard back.

Interestingly enough, when I try and connect through my cellular data it will work. when on wifi I get no response.

It will likely stop working again, I'm having the exact same issue, the store has been working off and on all day.

Sometimes it will load on the app but not on any browser, sometimes it will load on Chrome and the app, but not Firefox, other times on Edge and Chrome but nowhere else. I've exhausted all solutions that I can think of or find on my end. Hoping Mediacom, Valve or whoever figures out what the issue is.

Update: Since the new Steam update everything appears to be working just fine again, no problems on any platform. Hope it's now working for everyone else!
