There was a problem uploading this screenshot

This has been happening for months. I'm trying to see my screenshots from the screenshot manager so I can upload them to steam but it is saying There was a problem loading this screenshot. Is there a fix for this?

In the screenshot manager select a screenshot on the left then click on the screen on the right. This helps to see a bigger image of it.
I used to DB click the image on the left but it opens in the back behind Steam this works good. Then you can decide if you want upload it.
Maybe time to delete Steam download cache

Still doing it. It started after one of the recent steam updates a couple months ago. Idk what to do

I have this same problem. The screenshots exist. Clearing cache doesn't help. Must be some bug.

Seeing how it hasn't been working for months, you may just as well try this, and hope that it works. But if it doesn't work, it may mess things up further. But not necessarily. Its most certainly not my intention to mess things up.

Without Steam support, we have to try something. You can also contact them:

Maybe they have a better idea how to fix this.
