My collections does not pop up on my new computer.
Hi! I recently got a new computer. However, when I went on Steam, my collections disappeared from my library, so now I am in the process of reorganizing everything. However, when I went on my old computer, my old collections are still there, and I can see the new collections that I made on my new computer.

How can I get my new computer to show all the collections from my old computer? I do not want to spend hours reorganizing my collections on my new computer again.

There might be a bug since last maintenance. Others had their categories disappear as well.

In the past it corrected itself. You can backup the file that stores this information, from your computer that still is good. Sharedconfig file. If i am not wrong. In steam, userdata, long number, 7, remote. Or around that

That file is sadly not used for Collections any more. It used to store the old "Categories" that got converted to Collections at some point. They are now cloud based, so let's hope Valve fixes this as this appears to be a widespread problem that affected a lot of us, it's an issue on their side.

On the computer that still has the categories, rename the category and it should show up on the second computer then rename it back to the original name. Do this for all categories and it should be back to the way it was.
It worked for me this way.
